William Vincent Maddox

Mr. William Vincent Maddox, age 70, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at his home in Brownsville, TN, surrounded by family and loved ones. His private graveside funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in the Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dr. Fred Campbell officiating. William proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Jeter Maddox and a grandson, Dillion Brawle. He is survived by his three sons: Vincent Maddox, Jr., Paul Maddox, both of Brownsville, TN, Joseph Maddox (Sarah Hawkins) of Lakeland, TN, one daughter: Roxanne Vernon (Norman) of Brownsville, TN, two brothers: Donald Maddox, (Dale), Sonny Maddox, (Gaile), a sister: Gwen Maddox Wealti, all of Brownsville, TN. He also leaves eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lea & Simmons Funeral Home toward his funeral expenses. Due to restrictions on large gatherings, the family will have a private graveside service.
