William Elrod

Mr. William Carl Elrod, age 56 passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mr. Elrod was preceded in death by his parents: William Henry and Mamie Moore Elrod, one son: Brandon Elrod, one step-son: Bobby Dewayne Corkum, four brothers: Doris Elrod, Richard Elrod, Billy Elrod, Dan Elrod and three sisters: Opal Phillips, Ann Young and Dorothy Elrod. He is survived by his wife: Rita Elrod, Whiteville, TN, two sons: Shane Elrod (Heather Davis), Holly Springs, MS, William Elrod (Cherie Ferge), Whiteville, TN, three brothers: Ted Elrod and James Elrod, both of Whiteville, TN and Otis Elrod, Hillville, TN, four sisters: Mamie Sue Watson, Hillville, TN, Liz Norwood, Stanton, TN, Marie Elrod, Whiteville, TN and Nadine Crook, Collierville, TN and seven grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
