Timmy Green

Timmy Dwain Green, age 48, of Ripley, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the Lauderdale Community Hospital. Memorial Services for Mr. Green will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Bro. Richard Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. Timmy was born on September 1, 1972, in Ripley, TN. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shelia Tippett Green; one daughter, Amber Green; two sons, Ethan Green and Noah Green; his mother, Margaret Tipps and step-father Larry Tipps; three brothers, Gwen Tipps, Keith Green and Danny Tipps; three sisters, Laqueta Tipps, Janet Robinson and Tina Custer; one grandson, Jasper Green; one brother-in-law, Danny Tippett, all of Ripley, TN; one sister-in-law, Diane Koon of Lexington, KY, as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Green. Timmy’s family wants to thank everyone for their love, kind words and prayers during this difficult time.
