Thomas Robert Wade, Jr.

Thomas Robert “Rob” Wade, Jr. was born on January 24, 1967 and went to be with our Lord on March 16, 2026.

Rob was a talented diesel mechanic who dedicated many years of hard work to his career before retiring from Haygood Truck and Trailer Parts (Truckpro). He was known for his ability to fix anything, especially when it involved an engine or transmission.

Rob found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter who appreciated the quiet of the woods and lived a simple and content life in the Forked Deer community. He had a compassionate spirit and a willingness to help anyone he met. His bright smile had a way of lighting up any room he entered.

Rob is survived by his mother, Sandra Gardner of Brownsville, TN; his sister, Joy English (Rickey) of Brownsville, TN; his three children, U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Hunter Wade (Doris) of Phenix City, AL, Savanna Eggenberger (Alex) of Bartlett, TN, and Brownsville Police Department Corporal Samantha Wade of Oakland, TN; his three grandchildren, Alexander Wade, Owen Wade, and Eva Wade of Phenix City, AL; his niece, Jessica Millspaugh (Jason) of Somerville, TN; and his great niece and nephew, Aubrey Frye and Beckham Millspaugh of Somerville, TN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Robert Wade, Sr., and his grandparents, Alva and Ann Carpenter and Robert Wade.

A private memorial service will be held by the family to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eureka Church c/o 6950 Tibbs Forked Deer Rd., Gates, TN 38037.

Rob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
