Thermound Lynn Kellum
September 2, 1971 – June 6, 2026
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.”
Thermound Lynn Kellum, born September 2, 1971, in Brownsville, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at his residence. He was 54 years old. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Somerville, TN, with burial to follow. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
Thermound Lynn Kellum, lovingly known as Lynn, was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend whose generous heart touched countless lives. Known for his willingness to help anyone in need, Lynn was the kind of person who would gladly give the shirt off his back without expecting anything in return.
A lifelong Alabama football fan, Lynn proudly supported the Crimson Tide and enjoyed sharing that passion with family and friends. He was also known for his playful sense of humor, often comparing himself to Bo Duke and bringing laughter and smiles to those around him.
Family was the center of Lynn’s life. He cherished time spent with loved ones and created memories that will be treasured forever. His kindness, loyalty, and caring spirit left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Lynn was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mattie Jo Kellum, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became. While his family mourns his passing, they find comfort in believing that Lynn and his mother are reunited once again.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Thermound Kellum; his sisters, Kathy Taylor (Mark), Sylvia Price (Bill), and Ashley Colston (Rodney); five nephews, two nieces, and five great-nieces and great nephews, along with many other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Serving as Pallbearers for the graveside service are Mark Taylor, Leon Kellum, Cory Taylor, Zack Taylor, Billy Ray Price, and Ben Bishop.
Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy of love, generosity, friendship, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
