Stephanie Elizabeth Teems

Stephanie Elizabeth Teems, age 71, a resident of Brownsville, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Bro. Jeff Phillips and Bro. Larry Sweeney officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 12 Noon – 2:00 PM. Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM (Eastern Time) at the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens in Rome, GA. 

Stephanie was born on May 21, 1952, in Wheeling, WV to Stewart Kennedy Doyle and Mildred Barnes Deem. She worked for Alexander International as an exporter/forwarder of cotton. She was a faithful Christian at the Covington Church of Christ. She was a wonderful mother and a faithful loving wife and partner. 

Stephanie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ronald L. Teems of Brownsville, TN; her mother, Millie Deem of Brownsville, TN; one son, Charles Elledge of Portland, OR; two daughters, Candace Seigler of Bartlett, TN and Stacey Hart of Brownsville, TN and also, two adopted great-grandchildren Levi Austin Teems and Ava Marie Teems; two brothers, Charlie Doyle and Dirk Deem; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Stewart Kennedy Doyle.
