Shelia Faye Dycus

Shelia Faye Hendrix Dycus, age 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at her home in Gadsden, TN.  All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shelia was born in Brownsville, TN on September 14, 1958.  She was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church.  Mrs. Shelia took pride in her career, beginning as a meter maid for the Brownsville Police Department, she worked her way to working as the Haywood County Court Clerk, where she served for over 8 years.  Mrs. Shelia was preceded in death by her mother:  Eva Faye Sides Hendrix; and one sister:  Melissa Lynn Hendrix Butler.

She is survived by her husband of over 47 years:  James Arthur Dycus of Gadsden, TN; her father:  Jimmy Hendrix of Humboldt, TN;  two daughters:  Stacey Pittman of Brownsville, TN, Christina Fowler (Nick) of Covington, TN;  one sister:  Sherri Hendrix Austin of Milan, TN; one brother in law:  Thomas Dycus of Alamo, TN; She leaves a legacy of three grandchildren:  Samantha Pittman of Knoxville, TN, Breanna Fowler and Hunter Fowler; three nieces and one nephew.

The Dycus Family are honoring her wishes for cremation and further information will be annouced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
