Sandra Kay French, age 64, born on August 10, 1960, in Lauderdale County, departed this life peacefully on June 26, 2025, in Brownsville, TN. She was a cherished member of her community and a beloved part of her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home officiated by Rev. John Banks. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 12:00.
Sandra built a commendable career in the shipping department at Westlake Pipe & Fittings (Lasco), where her dedication and work ethic were well-respected by her colleagues. Her professional life was marked by commitment and resilience, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Beyond her career, Sandra had passions that brought her immense joy. She was an ardent fan of the Dallas Cowboys, sharing her enthusiasm with family and friends, while also enjoying the thrill of NASCAR races. Her vibrant spirit found a welcoming home as a member of the Brownsville Moose Lodge, where she formed lasting friendships and participated actively in community events.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Bill French of Corinth, MS; her brother, Greg Osteen (Hollie) of Franklin, TN; and her sister, Connie Osteen of Brownsville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Beverly Ann Ward Osteen, who provided her with a strong foundation of love and values that guided her throughout her life.
Sandra leaves behind a legacy of kindness, enthusiasm, and an unwavering spirit that will be remembered by all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet cherished memories of her will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
