Rosa Mai Turner passed from this life on August 16, 2024, to a life of eternal joy and happiness with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Lea and Simmons Funeral Home, 1280 S. Dupree Ave, Brownsville, TN with Mr. Dale Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in the Nutbush Community. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
Born on October 21, 1929, in Ripley, Tennessee, to Clarence and Lela Spiller, she was the sister to Tommy Spiller. Rosa was the wife of Robert W Turner, Jr., and mother to Elaine Knight (Dale) and Robert W Turner, III, and grandmother to Lawrence Knight (Jody) and Jeremy Knight (Raquel), and great-grandmother to Tyler, Ayden, and Hayli Knight.
Loved by her family, church family, and friends, she lived a long a fruitful life serving her husband and family and serving and praying for all the fellow saints in Jesus Christ. A true and faithful witness of the saving power of Jesus Christ, she did not hesitate to testify to His goodness in her life.
She will be greatly missed, and we look forward to joining her with all the other saints of God in the Resurrection and Second Coming of Jesus Christ in the clouds of glory.
All arrangements and service are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
