Ronald Earl Wayne “Ron” Lonon, 53, was born on November 23, 1972, in Jackson, Tennessee, and passed away on October 6, 2026, at his home in Alamo, Tennessee.
Ron will be remembered as a man who loved his family deeply and worked hard to provide for them. He carried that devotion into every part of his life, and those who knew him will remember the steady care he gave to the people he loved most. He also found great joy in the things that made life meaningful to him, especially fishing and drag racing, two interests that brought him happiness over the years.
He attended Crockett County High School. In his working life, Ron was a bodyman and painter for Volunteer International since 2019. He enjoyed his job and took great pride in his work, and that pride could be seen in the dedication he brought to each day.
Ron’s memory will also live on in the simple, familiar moments that made him so special to his family and friends: his delicious diabetic sweet tea that was really more sugar than tea, and the enjoyment he found in Jamie’s cooking. These are the kinds of memories that stay close to the heart and continue to bring smiles even in sorrow.
He is survived by his father, Ronnie Lonon and his wife Cindy, and his mother, Caffey Lipford Sullivan. He also leaves behind Amanda Phillips, his fiancée; his two daughters, Jamie Lonon and Jessica Lonon; He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, James Ray Mask and his wife, Kristi, and Patrick Lee Lonon and his wife, Stacie; his three sisters, Gia Overton Leath, Shana Michelle Lonon, and Samantha Lonon Boswell and her husband Greg; and his four grandchildren, Joy, Jackson, Joanne and James.
Ron’s life was marked by hard work, love for his family, and the pleasures of time spent doing what he enjoyed most. He leaves behind memories that will be treasured by all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed.
