Rocky Lee Perkins

Rocky Lee Perkins, age 72, of Bemis, TN, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1954, in Bemis, TN. The family has honored his wishes for cremation and there are no services scheduled.

Rocky was a lifelong Bemis, TN man who loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed good music, playing his guitar, and spending time with the people he loved. One of the things he especially enjoyed was drag racing with his family, making memories together that will be treasured forever.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, Olie V. Perkins and Ola Chandler Perkins; his sisters, Ruth Collins and Patsy Haggard; and his brother, Robert Perkins.

He leaves behind his children, Chad Perkins and wife Tina and Mindy Perkins, who will forever cherish the memories they made with their dad.

Rocky was a proud grandfather to Will Duncan, Madison Winstead (Blake), Bailey Morris (Gray), Landen Perkins (Erin), and Myles Perkins. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Molly Winstead, Grady Morris, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rocky will be remembered as a loving dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, guitar player, and his love for drag racing. His absence will leave a hole in many hearts, but the love he gave, and the memories made will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Rocky. Keep playing that guitar and watching over your family. You will be missed more than words can say.
