Robert McLeod

Mr. Robert Luke McLeod, 93 passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009 at his residence in Brownsville, TN. Mr. McLeod was a WWII decorated war veteran serving in the Pacific and recipient of the bronze star metal. He was retired from the Army Corps of Engineers and a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Graveside Services will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Trinity Cemetery in Nutbush. A visitation will be 12-12:30 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Trinity Cemetery. Mr. McLeod was preceded in death by his wife Nolene Ebert McLeod; a son Robert Luke McLeod, Jr. and two brothers: Herman Matthew McLeod, Jr. and Donald Joseph McLeod. He is survived by three daughters: Linda Mauldin, Brownsville, TN; Vicki Pepper (Milton), Stanton, TN; Robin Stafford (Barry), Bartlett, TN; one son Danny McLeod, Nashville, TN. one sister: Frances Forrest, Kennett, MO. Four grandchildren: Tiffany Hopkins, Blake Poe, Stephen Stafford & Angela Dunn and Four great grandchildren: Hunter Hopkins, Addison, Avery & Ansley Dunn and his beloved cat, "Dixie".
