Randy Harden

Randy Harden, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. His family has honored his wishes for cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced by Lea & Simmons Funeral Home when it becomes available. Born on May 13, 1961, in Memphis, TN, Randy lived a life rooted in hard work, family, and the simple joys he loved most.

He graduated from Tennessee Academy in Brownsville, TN, and attended Memphis State for three years. After working at Haywood Company for several years, he went on to spend the remainder of his working life farming with Kelly Enterprises, a path that reflected both his strong work ethic and his love for the land.

Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and farming. He was a Memphis State Tiger fan through and through, and whether it was football or basketball, he could always be found cheering on his team. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and those moments will be remembered with great affection.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rhonda Howard Harden of Stanton, TN, and by his brother, Bo Harden (Gwen) of Stanton, TN and many nieces and nephews. Randy is also survived by his faithful companion, his dog Sadie

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Harden; his mother, Dorothy Wright Harden; and his sister, Debra Fay Harden.

Randy will be remembered for the life he built, the people he loved, and the steady presence he brought to those around him. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
