Peggy Ann Porch

Mrs. Peggy Ann Porch, age 71, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Lea and Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Tillman and Rev. Phil Lovelace officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Porch is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lonnie Porch, one son Keith Porch (Julie), one daughter, Anita Porch Bailey (Alan) all of Brownsville, TN., three brothers, Larry Hendrix (Nancy), Mike Hendrix, Sr. (Debra), Allen Hendrix (Rene), one half-sister, Elizabeth Hendrix Forsythe. She leaves a legacy of five grandchildren, Blake Porch (Lacy), Kirsten Porch, Jase Porch, Nathan Bailey and Bryan Bailey (Jessica). She was preceded in death by her parents John W. Hendrix, Sr. and Vera Annie Morris Hendrix, one daughter, Terri Porch, two brothers, J.W. Hendrix, Jr., Donald Hendrix, one half-brother, Franklin Hendrix, one half-sister, Marie Hendrix Todd. She retired as a bookkeeper and loved her family very much. She especially enjoyed baking and cooking for them. She will be remembered as a great caregiver for her family.
