Paul Wayne Stanley, Sr., a devoted husband, loving father, and respected businessman, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, at his home in Alamo, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 2, 1954, in Brownsville, Tennessee, Paul lived a life marked by dedication, honesty, and an unwavering love for those close to him.

For over 40 years, Paul was the owner and operator of Stanley Roofing, a testament to his hardworking spirit and entrepreneurial drive. His career was not just a job but a passion, reflected in his steadfast commitment and the integrity with which he conducted his business. Known for his straightforwardness, Paul was a man you could always count on to tell you exactly what he thought, his honesty was both refreshing and grounding. Though he was sometimes stubborn, it was a stubbornness born from determination and a deep sense of responsibility to his family and work.

Paul's personality radiated generosity and a zest for life. He was "Ready to Go!" at any moment, embracing the adventures life offered. A sports fan at heart, he cherished his time rooting for his favorite teams, the Memphis Tigers and the Dallas Cowboys. He found joy in playing golf and fishing, activities that brought him peace and a chance to connect with nature. Yet, perhaps his most treasured moments were spent traveling with his beloved wife, Dorothy Lee, with whom he shared over 37 years of marriage, a partnership built on love, companionship, and countless shared memories.

Family was the cornerstone of Paul’s life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy Lee, and their children: Paul Wayne Stanley, Jr., together with his wife Georganna and their son, Paul Atlas Stanley; Stevie Goodman; and Ashley Flores, alongside her husband Matthew. Paul’s family circle also includes his brothers Sammy Stanley (Brenda) and Tony Stanley (Saundra), his sister Carolyn Clement (Lee), and his stepmother Armandina Stanley, all of whom grieve his passing while cherishing his memory.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Stanley and Adrian Lovell Holland, by his brother Mark Stanley, and his son Michael Shane Stanley. Their memories live on in the stories shared and the love passed down through generations.
