Patricia Ann Chambers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on May 26, 2026. Born on December 12, 1954, in Somerville, TN. Patricia lived a life full of love and faith. The family has honored her wishes for cremation and there will be a Memorial Service held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 4:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Somerville, TN, with Bro. Stan Smith officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

A proud graduate of Fayette Academy, Patricia dedicated much of her working life as a legal secretary, where her attention to detail and kind nature were appreciated by all who worked with her. Beyond her career, Patricia was a deeply spiritual woman who loved spending time reading her Bible and was known as a praying woman. Her faith was a guiding light in her life and brought comfort and strength to those around her.

She cherished her family above all else and found great joy in vacationing with loved ones. Patricia’s heart was full of love for her children, grandchildren, and church family, who held a special place in her life. Her warm spirit and generous nature made her a treasured member of the community.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Terry Chambers of Somerville, TN, who shared a beautiful life and many precious memories with her. She leaves behind her daughter, Eva Essary of Martin, TN; her stepdaughters, Allison Saxon of Alamo, TN, and Jennifer Mettler of Pensacola, FL; as well as her brothers, Johnny Davis, Eddie Davis, and Donnie Davis, and her sister, Joyce Rhodes. Her grandchildren, Paula Vargas, Poston, Davis, and Beck Essary, Miller and Molly Saxon, and her great grandchild, Greyson Saxon brought her immeasurable happiness and pride. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ted and Francis Gwynn Davis. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Medford who was the father of her daughters Jennifer and Eva.

Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be Corry Essary, David Robertson, Poston Essary, Miller Saxon, Melvin Geran, Bernie Millikan, Oston Saxon, Randall Chambers, Carlton Chambers and Davis Essary.

Patricia will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
