Millerine Jarrett, age 72, was born on August 3, 1953, in Brownsville, TN. She passed away peacefully at her home on May 10, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at the Peaceful Chapel MB Church with Rev. James E. Dowell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Hess Cemetery, located on Hwy. 54 N., Brownsville, TN. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, at the Peaceful Chapel MB Church.
She lived a full and vibrant life, quietly touching the hearts of those who knew her. Millerine worked as a material handler at S & R of Ripley, where she dedicated her time and effort. She enjoyed living life to the fullest, with simple pleasures that brought her joy. Shopping, talking to friends, and eating out were among her favorite pastimes.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Comage (Moses), and her son, Antonio Holloway (Kenyata), both residents of Brownsville, Tennessee. Millerine also leaves behind her brother, Willie Lee Shaw, Jr., and her sisters, Linda Green and Willene Shaw. She was a loving grandmother to Tokarra Holloway, Jamarcus Comage, Corrdarrell Comage, and Shaveon Comage, and a cherished great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren.
Millerine was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Jarrett, her parents, Willie Lee Shaw and Lorine Hess Graves, and her grandchild, Dedra Jarrett.
Millerine Jarrett lived life with warmth and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her family and friends. Her presence will be missed, but she will be remembered with fondness and respect. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
