Mildred Hooper Hight

Mrs. Mildred Hooper Hight, age 93 passed away at her home on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry Theopholus Hooper and Eliza Coburn Hooper, two sisters: Mary Powell and Beulah Derrington. She is survived by her husband: John A. Hight, Brownsville, TN, one brother: Bert Hooper, Sunbright, TN, one sister: Gail Hooper, Brownsville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union Grove United Methodist Church, c/o Carrie McCage, 2305 Key Corner Rd., Brownsville, TN 38012.
