Michael Vaden, Jr., age 53, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home.
Mr. Vaden was born on October 16, 1971, in Humboldt, TN, to the late Mike Vaden, Sr. and the surviving, Linda Pitner Harris of Friendship, TN. Mr. Vaden was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Friendship,
TN. Mr. Vaden was a certified Master mechanic and worked as a mobile mechanic for many years. He loved working on cars, camping and fishing. He loved riding backroads, bon fires and listening to good music, grilling and spending time with his precious family. He was also preceded in death by his wife of over 12 years: Suzy Joyner Vaden; maternal grandmother: Bonnie Floyd; Maternal Grandfather: Robert Pitner, Sr.; Uncle: Robert Pitner, Jr.; paternal grandparents: Donald and Rachel Vaden; maternal grandfather: Dewitt Mullins; Stepfather: Alton Harris; his infant son: Anthony Michael Vaden; sister: Jennifer Bolding Birmingham.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his step mother: Vicky Vaden of Bells, TN; son: Ryan Vaden (Rachel) of Bells, TN; daughter: Hayley Vaden (Bryan Detter) of Jackson, TN; two brothers: Brad Smith (Miranda) of Alamo, TN, Craig Smith of Denmark, TN; three sisters: Brittany Reyes (Kevin) of Gadsden, TN, Olivia Harris and Elizabeth Harris both of Friendship, TN; aunts: Brenda Mullins (Jimmy), Beverly Nelson (Kevin) and Diane Pitner; Uncles: Don Vaden (Linda), John Vaden (Pat), Louis Vaden (Linda);two nephews: Connor and Jake Birmingham; two nieces: Emery Harris and Gracelyn Reyes; cousins: Rhonda Lovelace (John), John Lovelace, Jr.; Jimmy Mullins, Jr., Gayle Pitner, Angie Pitner, Leanne Vaden Williams (Kenny), Bryan Vaden (Deana), Joy Cruse (Richard), Bills Vaden (Paula); He leaves a legacy of one grandson: Banks Vaden of Bells, TN.
The Vaden Family are honoring his wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
