Scotty Daniel

Michael Scott “Scotty” Daniel, age 58, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at his home in Crockett Mills, TN. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Bells Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.

Mr. Scotty was born on October 8, 1966, in Jackson, TN to the late Mr. Prather Daniel and his surviving mother, Mrs. Rachael Miller Daniel of Crockett Mills, TN. He worked in maintenance and lawn care for most of his life. As a young man, Scotty would show and ride horses and won “Top Show” on many occasions. He loved to fish, shoot guns and spend time with his family. His fondest hobby was studying Native American history and looking for arrowheads. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Scotty is survived by his life companion: Sandra Mathes Reece of Crockett Mills, TN; two daughters: Emily Daniel of Jackson, TN and Jessica Daniel of Brownsville, TN; His mother: Rachael Miller Daniel of Crockett Mills, TN; one sister: Angie Daniel Hodge (Danny) of Knoxville, TN; one nephew: River Hodge of Knoxville, TN; his loving dog “Rudy”; Scotty leaves a legacy of one grandson: Levi Daniel of Brownsville, TN.
