Mary Ruth Vaughn, age 76, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. A graveside funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM, in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in Henning, Tennessee with Bro. Lonnie Robinson officiating.
Mrs. Vaughan is survived by a son, Sammy Vaughn, Jr. (Heather) of Brownsville, TN., a daughter, Carolyn Barbee of Jackson, TN, a sister Cindy Waldron, three grandchildren, Christopher Barbee, Stephanie Barbee Qualls, Ashley Vaughan and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Lee Vaughn, Sr.,her parents, George Leek, Sr. and Daisy Matheny Leek, a brother, Wesley Leek, a half-brother Sonny Van-Story and a sister, Fairy Ruth Leek.
