Mary Taylor Sammons, 55 passed away January 4, 2014 at Haywood Park Community Hospital. Graveside Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. A visitation for the family will be Tuesday, January 7, 2014, 5 to 7 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Sammons was preceded in death by her mother: Mary Andrews Taylor and her brother: William Andrew "Andy" Taylor. She is survived by her husband: Jon Sammons, a sister: Susan Taylor (Michael Herndon) both of Brownsville, TN, her father: Bennie Dale Taylor, Leesburg, FL and a aunt: Judy Kennedy (Bruce) Indianapolis, IN.
