Margaret J. Pewitt

Mrs. Margaret J. Pewitt, age 60, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in St. James Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents: Al Murphy, Sr. and O.Z. Watkins Murphy, six brothers: Albert Murphy, Joe Cherry, Thomas Murphy, Jimmy Murphy, Johnny Mass, Joe Willie Murphy, five sisters: Magnolia Miller, Ozella Murphy, JoAnn Pete, Febbie Smith, and Betty Mae Murphy. She is survived by four sons: Joseph Springfield, Jr. (Talisa), Kentral Springfield (Tameika), Jarvis Springfield (Tracey), Todd Springfield (Kiley), four daughters: Pheneice Williams (Jimmy), Monica Springfield (Pedric), Felicia Jeter (John), Marquita Pugh (Travis), two brothers: Earl Murphy, Sr., Dennis Murphy, three sisters: Alma Olivia Murphy, Corine Murphy, Ella Mae Murphy, forty-four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
