Linda Joyner Morris, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee. Born on November 26, 1947, in Alamo, Tennessee, Linda lived a life deeply rooted in love, devotion, and joyful service to those around her.

A faithful member of the South Jackson Church of Christ, Linda’s greatest joy was always found in caring for her family, friends, and church family. Her heart brimmed with love for her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren, and she poured this affection into every moment she spent with them. Known for her radiant happiness and ever-helping nature, she truly loved everything and everyone around her, bringing light and kindness wherever she went.

Linda’s cherished memories often revolved around simple pleasures that spoke to her generous spirit and zest for life. She delighted in deer hunting and fishing with her dear friend Mr. Jesse Froman, moments that brought her peace and a deep connection to nature. She also relished yard sales and thrift store adventures, treasures that mirrored her joyful, giving heart and love for discovery.

She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to carry her spirit forward: her sons, Keith and Lee Morris; her daughters, Crystal Morris, Kim Beard and her husband Danny, and Donna Hardin and her husband Mike. She was also a treasured sister to Rita Shapley and her husband Dewayne, Martha Sweeney and her husband Larry, and Paulette Hayes. Her legacy lives vibrantly through her eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Linda's special bonds extended beyond her family to include her best friends: Mr. Jesse Froman and Mrs. Bonita Staggs, along with countless other friends, extended family members, and her cherished church community, all of whom felt the warmth of her friendship and grace.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thomas Freeman Joyner and LuElla Duncan Joyner; the father of her children, Donald Eugene Morris; and her beloved brothers Doug, Larry, and Richard Joyner.

Linda Joyner Morris’s life was one of unwavering love, vibrant happiness, and selfless giving. Her enduring spirit and boundless heart have left an indelible imprint on all who knew her. Though she is deeply missed, her love and kindness continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have shared in her remarkable journey.
