Lena Mai Pepper

Mrs. Lena Mai Pepper, age 100, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stanton Cemetery. A visitation will be conducted Wednesday, May 31, 2017, 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. in Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Pepper was preceded in death by her husband: Edwin Pepper, her parents: James Milton and Lena Ethel Cranford Thompson, two sons: Darrell Pepper, Carnell Pepper, two brothers: Floyd Thompson, Bill Thompson, a sister: Nellie Sue Cranford and a granddaughter: Elizabeth Kiestler. She is survived by a daughter: Mary Ethel Stevens, Mason, TN, nine grandchildren: Edwin Pepper, James Pepper, Lisa Hollaway, Mary Louise Flinn, Milton Ray Pepper, Ann Wilkins, David Pepper, Tim Stevens and Connie Bickers, sixteen great- grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
