Katelee Ann Sams

With heavy hearts and profound love, that we share the passing of Katelee Ann Sams. Baby Katelee is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus, a cherished angel in heaven. There will be a private, family only, service held for Katelee.  

Katelee leaves behind her devoted parents, Jordan and Georgia McBride Sams, who cherished her from the moment they learned of her impending arrival. Her loving sister, Kaili Rae Sams, will forever hold onto the dreams of what could have been. The embrace of her maternal grandparents, Bubba and Jeannie McBride, and her paternal grandparents, Brian McNeely and Leslie Sams, surrounded Katelee with warmth and joy even before she took her first breath. She was a precious great-granddaughter to Peggy Stuart Lewis, Allen McNeely, and James and Janice Gates.

Although she did not have the chance to meet her great-grandparents, Jerry Lewis, Linda Cannon, and Jerry McBride, Sr., they are surely watching over her with gentle smiles and open hearts.

In this sorrowful time, we find comfort in knowing that Katelee has joined a loving circle of family who awaited her arrival in heaven. While we mourn the loss of this sweet child, we also celebrate the love she embodied and the joy she brings to our memories.

Rest softly, dear Katelee, and may you forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who love you.  All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
