Joyce was known for her unwavering dedication to nurturing her family. For over 68 years, she shared a deep and loving partnership with her late husband, Howard Robert Bricco. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Joyce’s remarkable strength and protectiveness extended beyond her marriage; she was always there to help and encourage her loved ones, guiding them with an affectionate hand and fierce devotion.

Her love for family was evident in the many joyous memories they created together. Joyce revelled in the simple pleasures of life, such as canning vegetables, where the kitchen became a bustling hub of activity. Every member of the family would gather to wash jars, sharing stories and laughter, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and unity.

In addition to her culinary talents, Joyce had an eye for photography, capturing the moments that defined her life and adorned the walls of her home with memories. She documented her journey since meeting the love of her life, amassing thousands of photographs that tell the story of her family’s legacy and the love they shared.

Joyce's proudest accomplishments included raising her children, Sherrie Deplante (Harold), Steven Bricco, Rory Bricco (Tara), Robert Bricco, Lance Bricco, and Randy Bricco (Alice), while also embracing the joys of being a grandmother to her 15 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 25 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her beloved daughter and sons, along with her cherished sister, Belinda Roberts. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, and her two sons, Robin and Nicky, as well as three sisters, Chiquita Shaw, Nancy Smith, and Yvonne Roberts.
