Listen to Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesus Perez, who left this world on February 15, 2026, in his home in Bells, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 8, 1956, Jesus was a man of many talents and an abundance of love, cherished not only for his robust sense of humor but also for his deep-rooted connections to family and friendships.

Jesus made a significant mark throughout his career in landscaping, dedicating many years to cultivating beauty in the gardens he tended. His love for nature reflected his nurturing spirit, and he was especially proud of his remarkable green thumb—growing plants and flowers by the multitudes.

A devoted family man, Jesus's greatest joy came from his wife, Maribel Perez. His love for her was profound, and he embraced the role of a romantic to the fullest, always demonstrating just how deeply he cherished her. Together, they raised a beautiful family that includes their daughter, Edna Morales, and sons, Bernardo A. Perez, Sr. and Jesus E. Perez Sr., along with their respective partners, Poncho, Mireya, and Melissa. Jesus adored his fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, leaving a legacy of laughter and affection that will resonate through generations.

Jesus was known not only for his talents but also for his warm heart and friendliness. He was a big jokester, always ready with "the right words" to lighten the mood, and his delicious family recipe for juicy chicken brought everyone together around the dinner table. In his leisure time, he delighted in fishing and spending cherished moments with friends and family, making memories that will be retraced with fondness.

He shared an incredible bond with his brothers Guadalupe, Jose, and Mario Alberto Perez, and sister Enedelia Adame. His connections extended beyond family, with a special lifelong friendship with Claudio Santiago, and a beautiful relationship with his mother-in-law and best friend, Evangelina Martinez.

Though his departure leaves an aching void, the love Jesus spread and the memories he created will forever be cherished by his family, reminding them of a life filled with laughter, love, and genuine warmth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Longino and Antonia Perez, his brothers Pedro and Francisco Perez, and his sisters Elena Perez, Maria V. Perez, and Maria Guadalupe Perez.

Thank you, Jesus, for the love, laughter, and memories you brought into our lives. You will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
