Jeffery Daniel Maness Sr., age 65, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Arnold and Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Burial to follow in the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the Bells Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Maness was born in Chicago, IL on July 25, 1958, to the late Major Clinton Maness and Bonnie Maness. Jeff loved hunting, fishing, gardening, tinkering, and riding motorcycles. He loved his family and cherished every moment with them. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren: Bryce Maness and Brantley Maness.
He is survived by his wife of over 24 years: Annette Kay Jones Maness of Bells, TN; two sons: Jeffery Maness, Jr. of Henderson, TN, Cody Nathaniel Maness (Lesley) of Gadsden, TN; two daughters: Aimee Arnold (Scott) of Tennessee Ridge, TN, Brandie Climer (Daniel) of Jackson, TN; four brothers: Michael Delicco (Shari) of Burleson, TX, Danny Maness (Dawn) of Luray, TN, James Maness (Tina) of Finger, TN, Tony Maness of Lexington, TN; four sisters: Brenda Webb (David) of Lexington, TN, Linda Rose (Paul) of Indianapolis, IN, Gina Smith (David) of Lavina, TN, Shelia Leonard (Bob) of Bocca Ratan, FL; He leaves a legacy of 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild: Kayson Lee Maness.
Also to cherish his memory is Jeff’s little buttercup, “Rainey”.
Pallbearers serving are Cody Maness, Hayden Maness, Dusty Maness, Jay Arnold, Ben Arnold and Bradley Jones.
