Jane Oakes Smith

Mrs. Jane Oakes Smith, age 79, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 9, 2017 in the Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Smith and her parents, Terril and Jane Frechette Oakes. She is survived by her sons, David L. Smith(Nancy), Brownsville, TN, and Jeffrey O. Smith(Kim), Bowling Green, KY, two sisters, Robbie Smith, Galloway, TN  and Pam Temple(Tommy), Memphis, TN, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery, c/o Dianne Crawford, 13812 Highway 76 N, Somerville, TN 38068-5257.
