James Wendell Brasfield, 58, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 in the Veteran's Hospital in Memphis, TN. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 4:30 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 4:00 - 4:30 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Brasfield was preceded in death by his parents: Lee Brasfield and Pauline Ray Kent and his son: Marty Ray Brasfield. He is survived by his three sons: David Brasfield (Chera), Daniel Brasfield both of Brownsville, TN, Brandon Brasfield (Jennifer) of Olive Branch, Mississippi, two brothers: Ricky Ross, Linnie Brasfield, one sister: Billie Millikin, five grandchildren: Zachary Brasfield, Ashley Brasfield, Peyton Thornburg, Ansley Brasfield, Abby Brasfield and two great-grandchildren: Austin Brasfield, Jacob Brasfield.
