Ida Laverne Haynes

Mrs. Ida “Laverne” Haynes, age 87, passed away, January 29, 2018, at her home in Ripley, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband: James R. Haynes, parents; Oliver McFerron and Hazel Bennett Droke; two brothers: Harvey Droke, Dewayne Droke, two sisters: Frances Lee and Wanda Droke. She is survived by her daughter: Verna Funderburk (Ricky) Trimble, TN, two brothers: Lynn Droke, Ripley, TN, Ray Droke (Tammye) Jackson, TN, three sisters: Illa Mae Matlock, Brownsville, TN, Sue Ann Conrad, Ripley, TN, Kay Hill (Michael) Atoka, TN, four grandchildren: Mike Shelton (Ann), Scotty Funderburk (Hillary), Lorrie Jackson (Blake), Ginny Hargett (Tim), five great-grandchildren: Bradley Hargett, Shellie Hargett, Aarron Jackson (Megan), Savannah Jackson, Addison Funderburk, Carleigh Funderburk, one great great-grandchild; Kason Drake Hargett and numerous nieces and nephews.
