Eddie "Bo" Wise

Eddie “Bo” Wise, age 71, a resident of Brownsville, TN, departed this life on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.   There will be a gathering of family and friends for a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. 

Bo was born on August 8, 1952, in Brownsville, TN to Eddie B. Currie and Venie Dyson Wise. At an early age, he was a member of the Church of Christ. He worked as a mechanic for the City of Brownsville for 39 years. He loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.  He was a man who could fix anything and enjoyed working on small engines.   He loved life and loved his family dearly. 

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Clarisa Daniels of Brownsville, TN; one daughter, Juanita Swift (Wren) of Memphis, TN; two stepdaughters, Arniece Perkins of Brownsville, TN and Davin Johnson (Charles) of Memphis, TN; three stepsons, Cornelius Houston (Sherri), Tedric Houston and Jameel Bunbury (Teresa) all of Georgia; one brother, Johnny B. Wise; four sisters, Jacqueline “Jackie” Currie, Beulah  Bradford, Virginia Kimble, and Margie Lewis (Johnnie) and one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Claybrook Currie. He also leaves behind several grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie B. Currie; his mother, Venie D. Wise; two brothers, Roy Roland Currie and Clarence Gibbs; three sisters, Susie Farmer, Mary F. Taylor, and Leatrice “Billy” Scott.
