Donnie Wayne Doss

Donnie Wayne Doss, age 72, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, at his home in Brownsville, TN.  All services are under the direction of the Brownsville Funeral Home.

Mr. Donnie was born in Madison County, TN on September 14, 1951, to the late Otis Luther Doss and Effie Bell Hendrix Doss.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.  He was also a self-taught mechanic who loved to work on cars and trucks.  Also preceding him in death were two brothers:  Billy and Bobby Doss; two sisters:  Mildred Joynes and Margie Crutchfield; and one son:  JJ Doss.

He is survived by his wife of over 28 years: Wilma Doss of Brownsville, TN; three daughters: Cheyenne Doss of Brownsville, TN, Stacey Mason of Bedford, TX, Renee Johnson of Cedar Grove, TN; two sons: Shane Doss of Humboldt, TN, Jason Doss of Alamo, TN; one brother: Gene Doss (Evelyn) of  Jackson, TN; one sister:  Joan Tucker (Ronnie) of Alamo, TN; He leaves a legacy of 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Doss Family are honoring his wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Brownsville Funeral Home.
