Ms. Carolyn "Dipsy" Cryer, age 76 passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Crestview Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Ms. Cryer was preceded in death by her parents: John E. and Edith Pruitt Cryer. She is survived by two daughters: Roselyn LaFrain (Dylan) Stanton, TN, Regina Austin, Brownsville, TN, one brother: J.L. (Buddy) Cryer, one sister: Nellie Richardson, (Clayton) both of Brownsville, TN, three grandchildren: Kalyn LaFrain, Terry Hill, Jr., Gary Hill and one great-granddaughter: Trista Hill.
