Bootsey Vanstory

Bennie (Bootsey) Cole Vanstory, age 82, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at her home in Brownsville, TN. Private Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in Brownsville Memorial Gardens with Dr. Fred Campbell and Bro. Bob Connerley officiating. Bootsie was born on January 8, 1938, in Gibson County. She worked in Insurance Sales. She was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church. She is survived by her children: Greg Vanstory (Sherry), Steve Vanstory (Kathy), both of Brownsville, TN; Lisa Azlin (Billy), of Atoka, TN; Nine grandchildren: Michael Vanstory, Misty Vanstory, Haley Denlinger, Justin Vanstory, Tammie Vanstory, Scott Vanstory, Ashley Paris, Steven Paris and Ray Paris, III; seven great-grandchildren: Bryce Vanstory, Berkleigh Emerson, Bo Denlinger, Wesley Denlinger, Oliver Paris, Henry Paris, and Bryant Campbell; one brother, Dood Cole; one sister, Shirley Powell; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Vanstory (Sue); a niece, Beth Moore (Andy); two great-nephews, Blake and Brent Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Vanstory; her parents, Robert and Edna Cole; four brothers: Shorty, Dee, Red, and Don Cole; two sister: Betty Overton and Janie Dillion; a great-granddaughter, Amber Campbell and a niece, Sharon K.
