Bobby Joe Davis

Bobby Joe Davis, age 85, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Liberty Hall Church of Gadsden.  Burial to follow in the Salem Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Liberty Hall from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM.

Mr. Bobby Joe was born on May 26, 1938, to the late Jimmie H. and Minnie Ellis Davis.  He was a member of the Liberty Hall Church for many years.   Mr. Bobby Joe worked as a welder and forklift driver, but his greatest passion was “tinkering”.  He was always building something!  He enjoyed woodworking and creating things with his hands. Also preceding his in death was his wife of over 37 ½ years:  Frances J. Hudgins Davis; one daughter:  Lecinda Davis; four brothers:  Eugene Davis, Richard Davis, Perry Davis, and Dwight Davis; one sister:  Ruby Warmeth.

Mr. Davis is survived by one daughter:  Lisa Jerding (Gerhard) of Dyersburg, TN; He leaves a legacy of four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
