Betty Jo Baggett Coburn

Mrs. Betty Jo Baggett Coburn, age 82, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at her home in Brownsville, TN. Her Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11 AM in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020, 10 AM to 11 AM in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Coburn is survived by her son, Chris Coburn, (Rachel), a daughter, Carol Kirkland, both of Brownsville, TN, a brother, Jerry Baggett, (Becky) Smyrna, TN, three grandchildren: Carter Coburn, Conner Coburn, Sydney Kirkland, and three great grandchildren: Kenzy Coburn, Amara Kirkland and Ariah Kirkland. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Caudell Coburn, her parents, Joe Thomas and Lerline Boggs Baggett and a sister, Carolyn Rose. She was born on March 27, 1937 in Haywood County. She worked for Southern Bell Phone Company and also worked as a Teller for First State Bank. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and flowers. Family was important to her and she loved her children and grandchildren. Giving of herself was important to her. Memorials are requested to the American Heart Association, P.O.
