On July 22, 2026, with loved ones close at heart, Betty Jo Climer’s journey came to a peaceful close in Bradford, Tennessee. Born on June 26, 1974, in Lexington, Tennessee, Betty Jo graced the world with 52 years of unwavering spirit, kindness, and laughter. To all who knew her, she was not just Betty Jo Climer—she was a beacon of warmth whose love touched every corner of her family.

Betty Jo’s life was a testament to the power of genuine relationships. She was a beloved sister, niece, wife, and friend—each role she filled with selflessness and compassion. Those who survive her carry not only memories of joyful times shared, but also the enduring strength of her caring heart. Her brother, Anthony Climer and his wife Allison, her niece and devoted caregivers: Holly and Nathan Talley (The person she loved the most), will deeply miss the vibrant presence and gentle guidance she offered in every stage of their lives. She also leaves behind nephews: Hayden, Payton; Nieces: Ashley, Stephanie, Lisa, Greenlee and Holly; Great Nephews: Triston, Bryson, Charles and Harlan; Great-Nieces: Hailey, Abby, Ainsley, Jacey, Lexy, Natalie, Daisy, Julie, Kitana and Jealyn; Great-great-nephews: Ryker, Charlie and Dallin; Great-Great Nieces: Ava, Tatum, Blakely, Baily, Scarlett, Zarie and Elizabeth.

Betty Jo was no stranger to loss, honoring with daily remembrance the love and guidance of her father, Bobby Glyn Climer and her mother, Mamie Lou Jones Climer, who preceded her in death. She shared an unbreakable bond with her late siblings—James Clifford Climer and Bobby Climer—and her sister Louise Swafford, each of whom welcomed her now into a family reunion beyond this world.

Throughout her days, Betty Jo was known for her generous spirit and steadfast loyalty to family. Her laughter brightened gatherings, and her thoughtful words provided comfort in sorrow and celebration in joy. Though her time on earth feels too brief, the mark she leaves on the hearts of her loved ones is immeasurable and everlasting.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM, at the Laneview Baptist Church, 46 Laneview Concord Road, Trenton, TN.
