Smith and Mary Diane Johnson, both also from Brownsville, one sister, Betty Brandon (Dean). She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Darnessa Taylor (Doug), Robert Jones (Tiffany), BJ Johnson (Patricia), Charlie Jones (Crystal), Charlene Smith (Steve), Stephanie Smith (Harold), William Jones, Jr. (Jessie), and Savannah Jones, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Edward Jones; her parents, Pearley Barnhart and Twila Cornelson Barnhart; one son, James Wiley Jones; one brother, Jackson Barnhart; five sisters, Phyllis Rouse, Gracie Lamb, Mary Rouse, Lillie Flynn, and Bernice Rouse, and three grandchildren, Michael Shane Smith, Chasity Hendrix, and James Wiley Jones, Jr.
