Alice Dawn Williams, born Alice Dawn Lilley on May 4, 1939, in Maury City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, at her home in Humboldt, Tennessee. Surrounded by the love of her family, Alice’s life stands as a testament to grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion, leaving an enduring mark on all who were privileged to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, beginning at 4:00 P.M. at Floyd’s Chapel Church.

Alice, born to the late Woodrow Lilley and Hazel Espey Lilley, grew up in Maury City, where her warmth and gentle spirit first took root. Throughout her remarkable journey of 87 years, she became the heartbeat of her family and a cherished friend to many. Her life was rich with love and laughter, her presence a source of comfort and joy for those around her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 59 years, Redford Ray Williams, whose partnership with Alice exemplified deep love and mutual respect. Together, they shared a life full of fond memories, quiet support, and a shared vision for their family. Alice’s daughters, Debbie Riley and Debra Jane Spiegle, mourn the loss of a devoted and nurturing mother, whose guidance shaped their lives and whose love will forever guide their hearts. She is also survived by her sister, Anita Watson, whose lifelong bond with Alice was filled with affection and shared memories. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers - Bobby Austin Lilley and Jackie Brown Wyatt.

Alice’s circle of influence extended far beyond her immediate family. She treasured her friendships dearly, surrounded always by the loyal companionship of many, many friends and extended family members who now carry her memory forward. Her home was often a gathering place filled with laughter, warmth, and the steady hum of genuine connection—testaments to her open heart and the kindness she shared so freely.

While her earthly journey has come to a close, the legacy Alice leaves behind is woven into the lives she touched: in the values she instilled in her family, in the friendships she cultivated with unwavering sincerity, and in the quiet acts of generosity she extended without expectation.
