Alice's Obituary Mrs. Alice Louise Smith Waddell, age 94, of Brownsville, TN, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Waddell was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church for over 60 years, a former inspector for Wells Lamont Glove Factory, a cook at Family Pantry #1, an avid cook, and also enjoyed sewing and gardening.. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, TN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, TN, officiated by Dr. Mike Moore. Interment will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Becky) Waddell of Jackson, TN, and Tommy W. (Sharon) Waddell of Wellwood Community, TN; four daughters, Virginia (caregiver-Frank Deese) Davis of Brownsville, TN, Margaret (John) Wigington of Brownsville, TN, Betty (Bobby) Austin of Brownsville, TN and Elizabeth (Tony) Scott of Brownsville, TN; one brother, Ray Smith of Luray, TN; friend and caregiver Judy Simmons Bishop; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lancy Waddell; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith, Sr.; a son, L.W. Waddell and a grandson, Christopher Dan Swain; 9 brothers and 2 sisters. Pallbearers will be Shawn Parks, Steven Waddell, Tom Halliburton, III, Daniel Waddell, Blake Talbott and Taylor Waddell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Austin, Robert Austin, Matthew Waddell, Jacob Richardson, Hunter Waddell, and Drake Waddell.
