Al practiced law in Laurel for 35 years and was honored to serve as a judge for a number of years. Later he became the director of the Jackson Recovery Center in Jackson, MS. Al was an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Laurel and Fondren Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS. His favorite pastor was the Reverend Doctor Grayson Tucker.
In 2003 Al and Kittie moved to Brownsville, TN to be closer to family. They became a part of First United Methodist Church. Al taught Sunday School and a Wednesday night Bible Lay Study. He was very proud to be certified as a servant.
Al is survived by his wife Kittie Naill Kinney McRae, sons Holland McRae (Tia), Kinney McRae (Jessica), and daughter Malise Moore (Eric).
